Which lead to a trip
to a destination
that should not have been at all.
But lucky the way
things had turn out,
else we are all in for grumbles.
Old friends
are no doubt reliable, and
constantly surprising you in every way.
Took a long walk,
down tar layered tracks,
heading down along unfamiliar roads.
Long time since
we last walked so much,
for no one else we knew were keen on such.
In search of food,
brought us far,
finding our way back to a once upon a time stop.
Had our fill,
paid the bill,
mission accomplished and back to home we chill.
