Un-Worth-y

She makes me feel
worthless,
undeserving,
when she goes about her rantings.

The each and every little thing
which brings you down
to a level of discomfort
one would very much want to get out of.

Needless to say,
the doubts and uncertainties
that clings on tightly
and floods your head with unanswered blanks.

Now it all gives the feeling
of being an item in a shop
stripped of a label or price tag
because its believed never to need it.

We could have done without praises
but these words of unjust criticism
shreds me to pieces
without any mercy given.

Sadly this is only one of the reasons
this soul continues
to scream out in silence
in the dark and lonely room.
